The Roshini first and foremost frequent house visits were taken up to build rapport with the villagers and animate women to become independent. Women were motivated to develop leadership skills through leadership training programmes. To give them self esteem and relief from the clutches of moneylenders, every self help groups was encouraged to save Rs 10/- per week. The money collection in the form of savings and repayment of loans is again available to the members to borrow when they need. The SHG meeting holding regularly once in a week. The village animators and coordinators attend the meetings twice a month and conducting cluster level meeting. SHGs are primary intended to promote the spirit of sharing, working together, integration and cooperation among group members. Women when take up self employment for their economic development purpose. Today there are 100 SHGs and 1500 women are enrolled for SHG group. There are 6 clusters where representatives of the SHGs come together for various meetings. There is a Taluka level Federation which is registered . Which monitors the entire SHG programmes of women.
